The AMPTEC 620UK & 620UK-V4 are Intrinsically Safe Igniter Testers, EEX designed for ultra-safe resistance testing on squibs, flares, bridge-wire, and other explosive devices. AMPTEC’s 620UK is a 2 measurement-wire ohmmeter requiring zeroing of the test lead’s resistance on the low ohmic ranges. Consequently, its running mate is the 620UK-V4 which features automatic lead resistance compensation. Both models offer resistance measurement and testing of explosive or volatile devices.
