Fluke 1736 Power Data Logger Provides Power/Energy Analysis
The Fluke 1736 captures dips, swells, inrush currents, event waveform snapshot, high resolution RMS profile, along with date, time-stamp and severity to help pinpoint potential root causes of power quality issues. The 1736 Power Logger is a leader in energy studies and basic power quality logging by capturing/logging over 500 power quality parameters for data visibility to help optimize system reliability. The Fluke 1736 and 1738 Three-Phase Power Loggers, built with Fluke Connect®mobile app and desktop software compatibility, give you the data you need to make critical power quality and energy decisions in real-time.
Optimized User Interface
An optimized user interface, flexible current probes, and an intelligent measurement verification function that allows you to reduce measurement errors by digitally verifying and correcting common connection errors makes setup easier than ever and reduces measurement uncertainty. Access and share data remotely with your team via the Fluke Connect®app so you can maintain safer
working distances and make critical decisions in real-time, reducing the need for protective equipment, site visits and check-ins. You can also quickly and easily chart and graph measurements to help identify issues and create detailed reports with the included Fluke Energy Analyze Plus software package.
Fluke 1736 Power and Energy Logging
When a piece of equipment is operated, it instantaneously consumes a specific amount of power in watts (W) or kilowatts (kW). This power is accumulated over the operating time and expressed as energy consumed in kilowatt hours (kWh). Energy is what your electric utility charges for; there will be a standard charge from the utility per kilowatt hour. Utilities may have other additional charges, such as peak demand, which is the maximum power demand over a defined period of time, often 15 or 30 minutes. There may also be power factor charges, which are based on the effects of the inductive or capacitive loads in the facility. Optimizing peak demand and power factor often results in lower monthly electricity bills. The 1736 Three Phase Electrical Energy logger has the capability to measure and characterize these effects enabling you to analyze the results and save money.
Differences between 1736 & 1738 Power Loggers
The 1738 Power Logger includes the PQ Health (EN50160 analysis) and Fluke Connect module support whereas it is optional for the 1736. The 1738 features Waveform Snapshots + RMS profile whereas the 1736 does not. The 1738/EUS purchase includes 4ea. i173X-flex1500 12in 1500A Flexible Current Probes whereas it is optional for the 1736.
