Instek GOM-802 High Precision Programmable Digital Micro-Ohmmeter
The Instek GOM-802 is a High Precision Programmable Digital Micro-Ohmmeter/Milli-Ohmmeter suitable for the low resistance measurements of components such as switches, relays, connectors, PCB traces and variety of other devices. As a 30,000 count~ 4 3/4 digit DOM~ Digital Micro-Ohmmeter with 35V of compliance, it is ideal for testing transformerself heating and inductors by having enough horsepower to keep the current constant while charging the inductance. You are rewarded with an excellent measurement settling time normally unobtainable with other ohmmeters.
With a built in resistance comparator, it is an ideal tool for receiving inspection, engineering or production to select, screen, or match resistors using the HI-LO-GO, Pass-Fail or Buzzer features associated with the GOM-802. There are 20 sets of Normal/Hi/Lo setting memories to satisfy a multitude of different test condition. As an operator convenience, the last setting is automatically recalled when the GOM-802 is activated.
Performance features include nine measurement ranges from 30mΩ to 3MΩ, selected automatically or manually, with the 9 decades of constant current between 1µA and 1A, resolution as low as 1µΩ, accuracies in the 0.05% area, 4-terminal Kelvin to compensate for lead and contact resistance, and a choice of sampling speeds all combine to provide the ultimate value packed digital ohmmeter of choice. |

For consistent results with smaller target areas the "MP-5" offers a reduced surface diameter of 0.5", while "MP-4" is a 1" diameter. |
