Amptec 601ES Igniter Tester Ordinance DMM

THE AMPTEC 601ES Explosive Safety DMM integrates the ultimate in failsafe circuitry to provide AC-DC Voltage measurement ( multiple ranges up to 600 VRMS) ,  AC-DC Current ( from 0 to 2 amperes for the standard version) , and DC resistances ( from 2.0 ohm range to 20 Kohms) . Designed originally for U.S. Military/Defense system programs, (i.e. Air Launched Cruise Missile - Boeing Defense Systems ) to replace the aging and obsolete Dupont 101 Blaster meter. The AMPTEC 601ES Explosive Safety DMM features:  1) a ruggedized, water- resistant main front panel, 2) self-contained DC milliammeter (to independently verify it's USAF Munition Safety Board Approved failsafe "ohms" current source level,   3)  low level fail-safe voltage  (50 mV) signal source , 4) fail-safe signal sources ( to independently verify unit's DMM stray voltage and stray current measurement function), 5)  4 wire Kelvin resistance or 2 wire "ohms" modes at the flip of a switch (silicone rubber boot protected),  6) standard DMM style gold plated 5-way binding posts ( accepts banana jacks, spade lugs, bare wires and other test lead connections, 7) wide viewing angle (tilted) ergonomic display - readable in direct sunlight,  8) separate battery compartment allows user to replace the unit's 4 ea. "AA" batteries without breaking the calibration seal, a shielded Faraday cage design for EMP , ESD protection, noise immunity, and more .

Amptec 620A-4 Igniter Tester

  The AMPTEC 620A-4 is the only digital igniter tester the USAF uses on all it's missile warhead squibs, rocket motor squibs and all general purpose ordinance. The AMPTEC 620A-4 Igniter Tester is a portable, battery powered 4 ½ digit DC Ohmmeter that safely measures electrical resistance on a variety of squibs and other explosive elements and components.  It has had its circuitry reviewed and approved by U.S.A.F. NonNuclear Munition Safety Board for use on all NonNuclear Munitions ( i.e. U.S.A.F.  AIM-7 SPARROW, AIM-9 SIDEWINDER Missiles - Army Standard Missile, Flares, C-130 Fire Bottle Squibs, AGM Maverick series and more). Amptec 620A-4R Igniter Tester

The AMPTEC 620A-4R Water Resistant Safety Ohmmeter (Igniter Tester) internally is identical to the US Air Force safety board approved AMPTEC 620A-4 Igniter Tester circuitry.  The advantage is that the 620A-4R is ruggedized, and water-resistant.  The 620A-4R case is water proof when closed to a depth of 3 feet. The 620A-4R also floats in water.  Since it has silicon boot seals over all of its switches, it can even be operated outside in direct rain. Ranges: 20 ohm, 200.0 ohm, 2.0 Kohm, 20.0 Kohm

The AMPTEC 620EH High Low Ohm Explosive Safety Igniter Tester is a portable digital fail-safe ohmmeter which has been specifically designed for ultra-safe resistance testing on explosive devices.  The AMPTEC 620EH features the best of both worlds (low level and high level resistance testing) a low 2.0 ohm fullscale range, 20.0 ohm, 200.0 ohm and 2.0 Megohm resistance range. Amptec 620ES Igniter Tester

The AMPTEC 620ES Low Resistance Explosive Safety Igniter Tester is a portable digital ohmmeter which has been specifically designed for ultra-safe resistance testing on explosive devices (i.e. squibs, igniters, flares, detonators, warheads).  The 620ES features a low 2.0 ohm fullscale range, five way gold panel jacks that directly accept wiring, spade lugs and banana jacks (i.e. with 4 wire Kelvin Clips). Amptec 630ES Igniter Tester

The AMPTEC 630ES Explosive Safety Ohmmeter/Igniter Tester is a ruggedized, water-resistant, feature packed portable digital failsfe ohmmeter which has been specifically designed for ultra-safe resistance testing in the field on explosive devices (i.e. squibs, igniters, flares, detonators).  The 630ES also floats in water.  It is both mechnically and electrically impossible to charge the batteries while measuring and vice versa. Features:  a self-contained DC milli-ammeter and built-in function test resistors (to verify 630ES test current levels are safe and resistance ranges accurate) and a "Safety Lock Out Keyswitch" that disables all operation and shorts the Igniter Tester's measurement wiring from the outside world internally (when the key is removed) and more . . .. Since it has silicon boot seals over all of its switches, it can even be operated outside in direct rain. The AMPTEC 630ES series has had its circuitry reviewed and approved by Los Alamos National Laboratories Explosive Safety committee as their HE ( High Explosive) meter. The AMPTEC RESEARCH 640SL Igniter Tester design was co-ordinated with Sandia National Laboratory and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories Safety Instrumentation Engineers. The portable AMPTEC 640SL re-chargeable battery powered HE meter is also known as the SE3332.  It can be used in the harshest environments (cold or hot, wet or dry) that may be encountered.  The water resistant 640SL Explosive Safety Igniter Tester (SE3332) is at home outdoors on the test range, as it is indoors as a general purpose test bench HE meter.
