The 10A Micro-Ohmmeter Model 6240 is a rugged, low resistance tester designed for both plant maintenance and field use. Utilizing a four-lead Kelvin method of testing, the Model 6240 Micro-Ohmmeter accurately measures very low resistance within 0.25%. Resistance measurements are from 1µΩ resolution to 400Ω F.S. The Model 6240 has selectable test currents of 10A, 1A, 100mA and 10mA and includes a polarity reversal function to allow compensation for thermal e.m.f. offsets The Model 6240 is designed to conduct tests on both resistive and inductive material. Up to 99 measurements can be stored and printed directly to a printer or from a PC.The DataView® Software included allows you to configure the instrument, temperature compensate the test results, as well as, store data and print reports.

AEMC 6250 Micro-Ohmmeter (2129.81)
The 10A Micro-Ohmmeter Model 6250 is a rugged, low resistance tester designed for both plant maintenance and field use. Utilizing a four-lead Kelvin method, the Model 6250 is the most accurate Micro-Ohmmeter available, with results within 0.05%.
Resistance measurements are automatically calculated, taking into account the measurement value, ambient temperature, metal type and metal temperature co-efficient. Metal temperature can be manually entered by the operator or directly measured by the Model 6250 with an optional RTD temperature probe.
The Model 6250 is uniquely designed to conduct tests on both resistive and inductive material, with operator selection directly from the front panel. Three test modes are available; resistive (instantaneous test), inductive (continuous test), and auto (repetitive test). Up to 1500 measurements can be stored and printed directly to a printer of from a PC.

AEMC 5600 Micro-Ohmmeters (Replaced by 6240)
The Micro-Ohmmeter Model 5600 performs accurate, reliable low resistance measurements with test current to 10A and resolution to 1mΩ. The Model 5600 uses a four-wire Kelvin Bridge method, which eliminates test lead resistance for a measurement accuracy of 0.25%. A reverse polarity switch compensates for the effect of DC voltage interference on the accuracy and permits reading averaging. A built-in circuit filters against AC signals.
The large, easy-to-read LCD directly displays resistance measurements in ohms with an automatic decimal point. Power is supplied by a long-life NiCD battery with a built-in recharger. The Model 5600 features an automatic shutoff after four minutes on non-use.
The Model 5600 is housed in a sealed, safety yellow field case with carrying handle and a lid that may be removed during testing.
