AEMC 1040(2116.92) 1000V Megohmmeter
The Megohmmeter AEMC 1040 is a battery powered digital insulation resistance testers. The AEMC 1040 is designed to measure insulation resistance, continuity, voltage and to measure resistance. The AEMC 1040 features test of 500V and 1000V. The AEMC 1040 incorporates a 600V voltmeter which automatically detects and accurately displays AC/DC voltages in the test circuit on each of the insulation test voltage ranges. Above 25V it also provides an audible an visual signal, and inhibits further tests, thus protecting the user and the meter.
An exceptionally large digital/analog multi-function display provides clear and easy readings enhanced by a bright blue electroluminescent backlight. The AEMC 1040 Megohmmeter incorporate a timer function which allows the user to operate the unit hands free for the duration of the test or until the button is pressed again. The megohmmeter will beep automatically at 30sec, 60sec and 10 minutes to remind the user to record measurements.
