The XiTRON XT560 Digital Micro-Ohmmeter is ideal for reliable, repeatable, accurate, low-resistance measurements using a standard 4-wire Kelvin lead set to compensate for lead and contact resistance.The Xitron XT560 Digital Micro-Ohmmeter ~ Milliohmmeter is a dedicated, fully automatic/manual instrument that selects the optimal test current, from 100nA to 100mA DC to accurately measure resistances from 10μΩ resolution to 33MO F.S.
Auto-Ranging Milliohmmeter
The XT560 Auto-range between 9 ranges, from the 300mΩ Range ~ 30MΩ range, or can be manually set to a fixed range. The XT560 features 4-terminal measurements for purposes of compensating lead wire resistance. The XT560 is ideal for measuring wiring or cable resistances, windings of motors or generators, lamp filaments, cable splices, wire- to- terminal resistances, heating elements, contact resistance of breakers or switches, connector quality/resistance, fuse resistances, transformers, and grounding connections.
Remote Computer Controlled RS 232 Milliohmmeter (Micro-Ohmmeter)
The MT560 may be controlled "remotely" from a host computer via the RS 232 interface. When the meter is operated from its front panel, it is said to be operated "locally". Some operations, such as setting the communication parameters for the RS-232 interface, can only be performed from the front panel. The BAUD Rate, e.g. may be changed from the front panel "locally".
