voltage accuracy, rock solid stability and resolution previously unattainable. Performance that rivals that of traditional High Voltage Reference Dividers, yet
unlike the delicate HV Divider, Vitrek's 4700 HV Test Meter provides instant, direct, highly accurate high voltage measurements in a
portable, compact/ rugged bench top enclosure. Vitrek's 4700's large, high resolution, color, touch
graphic display simultaneously shows the AC and DC content of the voltage being measured and can plot
readings from a few seconds to several days.
Direct Measurement to 15KV or 100KV with Vitrek's HV-SmartProbe™
Vitrek's 4700 Precision High Voltage Testing Meter precisely measures voltages directly up to 15KV, right out of the box - with no external
probes. That range capability is high enough to accommodate 90% of the HV sources in use today. Should you need to expand
your high voltage measurement capability - just add one or more of the available 35KV, 70KV and 100KV
SmartProbes™ without a need for additional calibration requirement! . The Vitrek HV-SmartProbes™ each store their own calibration data which is down loaded
when they are plugged in to the 4700 - this results in high accuracy, calibrated readings and allows any
Vitrek SmartProbe™ to be used with any 4700 HV Meter. The HV-SmartProbe's™ proprietary, ultra low TC
attenuator design eliminates voltage coefficient adders - while its reduced capacitive construction technology enhances AC performance.

In addition to the direct input terminal the, The Vitrek 4700 High Voltage Meter can simultaneously utilize two probes thru its dual input ports.
Use one probe to extend your measurement range or use two probes for making High Voltage
differential measurements.
Vitrek's 4700 Affords Speedy High Voltage Testing Automation (40,000 Readings/sec)
Automate your HV test requirement with Vitrek's 4700's built-in Ethernet port, high speed serial
communication port or available GPIB. The 4700 is fully programmable - so you can select your
measurement mode and bandwidth, then take readings as often as desired. The 4700 also comes standard
with a USB printer port, to capture readings and get hardcopy printouts of HV plots - so you can
document the sag or overshoot in a typical hipot test. Do all of this at 40,000 readings per second.

Vitrek 4700 High Voltage Meter Displays and Retains Data Like a Storage Scope Turned Data Logger
The Vitrek's 4700 display on the left has recorded the HV amplitude and timing associated with an arbitrary test. The horizontal time base is 20mS/div and the vertical sensitivity is 1KV/div. This test example ramped up at 1KV/20mS for 55mS, dwelled at 5KV for 100ms and then returned to zero at the conclusion of the test. The 4700 stores 300 readings to capture and document HV source drift, ramp time, overshoot and sag.
