Insulation Resistance Testing

The Biddle MIT200-EN Series Meggers are versatile portable hand-held Insulation Resistance Hipot testers featuring test voltages of 250V, 500V and 1000V, depending on the model. Earth continuity test measurements are available with a low resistance resolution of 0.01Ω resolution and with an audible buzzer at low resistance.

Continuity Testing

For testing compliance to International Standard’s requirements, the Biddle MIT 200 Series Meggers features Continuity Testing to 10Ω at 200 mA and 0.01Ω resolution and to 100Ω at lower test currents.

Continuity Buzzer

An audible buzzer is actuated at continuity resistance values below 5Ω. The ohmmeter input is protected against accidental voltage inputs of 50V at which point testing will be inhibited.

Functions as a Voltmeter

The MIT-200 series features the capability of measuring voltages from 25 AC Volts to 600 AC Volts.

Choice of Batteries

The MIT-200 Series Meggers use 6 replaceable ‘AA’ alkaline batteries or nickel metal hydride (NiMH) rechargeable type. A low battery warning indicator gives advanced notice low battery conditions.
