Biddle MIT520/2 5KV Meggers 
The new Biddle MIT520/2 5 KV Insulation Resistance Megger Tester is designed specifically to assist with the testing and maintenance of high voltage electrical equipment. The MIT520/2 measures and displays Insulation Resistance to 15TΩ (Tera Ω), AC/DC Voltage, Insulation Leakage Current, Capacitance, displays Battery Charge Status and Test Voltage Discharge Time Constant. In addition, the elapsed time of the test is displayed continuously.
The MIT520/2 measures to 15TΩ, replacing
the ambiguous “infinity” leading with an actual number
that can be used for predictive/preventive trending on the
highest quality insulation. Both units are supplied with test
leads with medium insulated clips. The MIT520/2 has the
ability to set the test voltage from 50 V to the maximum
output voltage.
MIT520/2 Built-in Timer
A built-in integral timer starts automatically at the
beginning of a test, and displays in minutes and seconds.
At the end of any test, capacitive loads are automatically
discharged and the decaying voltage displayed. The timer
enables the performance of an automatic IR test with the
MIT520/2.
